Zientzia Astea, the UPV/EHU Science, Technology and Innovation Week will be held in Bilbao, Barakaldo, Vitoria-Gasteiz and San Sebastián, with a comprehensive offer consisting of nearly 200 free activities. Visits to schools and scientific centers, workshops, educational trips, talks, competitions and informational shows such as the Zientzia Club were organised. All with the aim of attracting the Basque community to the scientific and technological world.

Science, Technology and Innovation Week is an entertaining and educational event through which UPV/EHU wants to bring science and technology closer to society, show its real appeal, and awaken the curiosity of young people and adults, boys and girls. This new edition will be held from 6 to 10 November in Bilbao (Bizcaya Aretua) and Barakaldo (Clara Campoamor Civic Center), from 7 to 9 in San Sebastian (Tabacalera) and from 7 to 10 in Vitoria-Gasteiz (Pipat Museum and at the Vitoria-Gasteiz School for engineering).
Zientzia Astea 2024 is organized by UPV/EHU in collaboration with the Ministry of Education of the Basque Government and sponsored by Alava Provincial Council, Gipuzkoa Provincial Council, Barakaldo City Council, Donostia-San Sebastián City Council, Vitoria-Gasteiz City Council, Vital Foundation, Bilbao Metro and Ecampus. .
