The Irish wrestler’s agent claimed he underwent a three-hour operation and “will recover fully in time”.
Dustin Poirier defeated Conor McGregor, former UFC Champion in two categories, by technical knockout during their fight at UFC 264, which was held on July 10 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas (USA).
The fight was halted after the first round after the Irish fighter broke his left leg while trying to avoid a blow from his American opponent.

“This is not over yet” claimed “Notorious” from the appraiser upon meeting him after the fight He added, “If we have to solve it abroad, we will solve it abroad. I don’t care.”
McGregor suffered a broken tibia and fibula and underwent a three-hour operation last Sunday. Communication On Twitter, his agent Udi A. Attar, who confirmed, according to doctors, that the athlete “will fully recover with time.”
The fighter later tweeted: “I just got out of the operating room! The surgery was excellent! I feel good. Six weeks on crutches and we’re back on the arm!”
