Venezuela presented seven works at the Latin American Congress of Marine Sciences – DiarioVea

The team of the National Center for Fisheries and Aquaculture Research (Cenipave) of the Ministry of Popular Fisheries and Aquaculture participated in the 20th Latin American Congress of Marine Sciences and the 8th Brazilian Congress of Oceanography held in Itajai, Brazil.

In this field, seven research papers were presented in the fields of fisheries and aquaculture, biodiversity and natural history, and climate change. Institutions, universities, and researchers participated in these researches to promote marine sciences in our country.

The Latin American Congress of Marine Sciences and the 8th Brazilian Congress of Oceanography were organized by the Latin American Association of Marine Science Researchers (Alicmar) and the Brazilian Oceanographic Association (Aoceano) and addressed topics such as biology, coastal ecosystems, environmental pollution, climate crisis, biodiversity, food technology, fishing and mariculture, among many others.

The regional meeting brought together researchers, professors, representatives of governmental and non-governmental organizations, public and private institutions, and companies from all over Latin America and the world.
