UNAH hands over 1,337 new professionals to Honduras – Diario La Tribuna

The National Autonomous University of Honduras (UNAH) yesterday began the process of handing over 1,337 undergraduate degrees to professionals from different faculties, an activity that culminates today, Wednesday, November 24, under strict compliance with biosafety measures.

UNAH Secretary General Jessica Sanchez stated that “For us it is a day of great satisfaction, we will introduce 1,337 new professionals in the service of the country, it is our pleasure to be able to achieve results, the University, in this complex situation of the epidemic that we have had to face.”

We started work on four booths, in the registration area, to serve the College of Humanities and Arts. We will enroll in the Faculty of Legal and Medical Sciences, then on the 25th we will continue our work in the Faculty of Economics, with 439 new specialists, and finish with the Faculty of Sciences. “

Sanchez highlighted that 12,690 addresses were delivered during the pandemic and that the delivery they are currently making is the 25th and 5th for the university city.

Addresses are delivered from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., in accordance with a biosafety protocol that protects the health of alumni, their companions, and university staff.

UNAH only allows two people to accompany the graduate, who are not elderly, minors or have some underlying disease.
Graduation days began in the faculties of humanities, arts, social sciences, legal sciences, and medical sciences.
