La Paz, Baja California Sur. (OEM-Informex). The Autonomous University of Baja California Sur (UABCS) and the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) implemented the Inter-Institutional Symposium on Social and Human Sciences in a virtual manner, an academic activity to reflect on various projects of investigation currently underway.
For the Southern California Study Council, the academic departments of Economics, Social and Legal Sciences have collaborated; by UNAM, Postgraduate Coordination at Acatlan Graduate School.
For two days, graduate students from both institutions presented research developments in order to share their experiences in the process, enrich the content of their projects with feedback from the audience, and build a communication bridge to form academic networks.

In general, the topics covered land use planning, migrants, urban planning and public transportation, human rights, governance, sustainability, and the 2030 Agenda, which focuses on tackling problems in different regions of the country.
Notably, the event was chaired by Dr. Placido Cruz Chavez, Head of the Academic Department of Economics at UABCS, along with Dr. Erika Arias, Graduate Coordinator at UNAM.
