Havana, October 7 – As part of the 4th International Scientific Conference UCIENCIA-2021, the Training and Certification Laboratory in Software Development Roles opened this Wednesday, within the University of Informatics Sciences (FIA), in this capital.
Yaimí Trujillo, a professor associated with this topic at the Graduate Center, identified on the same digital platform that he said the lab originates from the alliance between the Cuban Foundation and the International Institute for Software Quality (ISQI, for its English acronym) and that the new technologies will be available to professionals across the country.
At the opening ceremony, the university professors noted that the scope of the laboratory is not limited to the institution itself, but rather constitutes a place where the information and training needed by Cuban specialists in software quality issues are provided.
They also highlighted that the main objective of this project is to achieve standardization of the certification system in alliance with several companies, which at the same time makes it possible to train both students and teachers in these areas of knowledge.
