Health Secretary Carlos Mellado Lopez recalled on Sunday that Wednesday, April 28, will begin to implement more restrictive measures for travelers visiting the island.

Similarly, Mellato Lopez stressed that “every passenger must bring a negative result to the molecular test, otherwise they must remain isolated until tested and the result is obtained”.
Testing can help identify positive events at the right time, thereby providing the right treatment at the right time and preventing infection to family and friends. (3/4)

The health minister asked passengers not to see a family member for 14 days.
For those who come on a trip, my advice is not to visit their relatives for 14 days, which is the incubation period of the virus. (4/4)

New measures are being imposed after an increase in COVID-19 infections on the island.
Also, starting Wednesday, those who do not show up with a negative molecular test will be fined $ 300.
The health report today recorded one death from COVID-19, with an additional 1,972 new cases, 907 of which have been confirmed by molecular testing.
