Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta Platforms, WhatsApp’s parent company, showed off these new features in a demo in which he used some filters with his wife, Priscilla Chan.
To enjoy the new filters and wallpapers in WhatsApp video calls, users will need to update the app to its latest version.
How to use video call filters on WhatsApp
To use the new WhatsApp filters and wallpapers, the user must start a video call, where they can access these newly added features. At the bottom of the screen, similar to Instagram filters, around nine filters will appear represented by circular icons. To choose one, just click on the icon that interests the user most.
