The Colombian began her performance in an enclosed space surrounded by mirrors and celestial lighting. Then she headed to the stage, where she was accompanied by the piano, and then a video was played of her two children singing the beautiful lyrics of the song. Both Milan and Sasha were in attendance and proudly cheered for their mother from their seats.

The simple performance of “Acróstico” followed Shakira’s first win of the night in the Best Pop Song category for her collaboration with Bizarrap, “Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53.”

The Latino fans who have taken me to very high heights, those places that I have dreamed of since I was a little girl and to whom I owe everything. I also want to share them with my Spanish fans who have accompanied me on “Through thick and thin…and who never stopped giving me love and support for a single day. I will never forget that. This is for you.”
