President Louis Abinader He announced that he is leaving the country this Friday because of his daughter Adriana University graduates America.
The President insisted that he should stay away from politics for two days and go with his family.
Apart from that, he also said through his X account that he will return tomorrow on Saturday.
“My family generously takes time to dedicate me to politics, because we share a commitment to the Dominican people. But now, I have to take two days away from politics and, as a family, take my daughter Adriana to her university degree in the United States. “I’m leaving today, Friday, I will come tomorrow Saturday,” the president posted on his X account.
The president’s visit comes two days before the general election in which he is seeking re-election by the Modern Revolutionary Party against former president Lionel Fernández (Fuerza del Pueblo); Abel Martinez (Dominican Liberation Party); Miguel Vargas (Dominican Revolutionary Party); Virginia Antares (Democrat); Fulgencio Severino (Homeland for All); Maria Theresa (Broad Front); Carlos Pena (Server Generation); and Roque Espaillat (Party of Democratic Faith).
