Potosi students achieve gold medal in world science event

The State Government Education Minister (SEGE) reported that the students of the Tamazunchal High Technological Institute received the gold medal and recognition as the best project in the social sciences category, out of more than 80 international projects, at the International Science and Invention Fair 2023 Offline Competition held in Bali, Indonesia.

The head of the government agency, Juan Carlos Torres Cedillo, praised the full support provided by Governor Ricardo Gallardo Cardona in educational and youth matters, to foster talent and highlighted the dedication, creativity and passion for science and innovation of the team of students. .

He explained that the activities were implemented during the period from 6 to 12 November 2023, with the participation of more than 80 projects from Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Iran, Romania, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, China, Brazil, the United States and Vietnam. And Mexico with the “Tlahuill” project, a prototype guitar designed to facilitate the teaching of musical chords in a dynamic, easy and fun way.

The winners are: Emmanuel Vargas Ruiz and Nancy Reyes Luna, industrial engineering degree students; Elfego Joshué González Pérez, majoring in Computer Systems Engineering, and Citlali Yecjyetzi Antonio Martínez, majoring in Business Administration Engineering, who thanked the support and support given to them by Governor Ricardo Gallardo Cardona.
