Parents realized the positive impact of the Science Course 2021, implemented by the Interactive Center for Science and Technology of Zacatecas Zigzag, by establishing their children as an alternative for learning and recreation during the summer period.
This was stated by the Deputy Director of Education for Zigzag, Atenea Morales, when referring to letters of gratitude and congratulations sent to the Zacatecan Council on Science, Technology and Innovation (Cozcyt) for the resumption and almost done annual activity, since in 2020 it was suspended due to COVID-19.
He explained that in the 2021 edition entitled “Let’s Work with Science”, for a period of six days, from 11:00 in the morning until 1:00 in the afternoon, participants from the age of eight to 12 years old carried out activities and worked in chemistry, physics, mathematics and programming. sustainability and astronomy.
In addition to learning, they were able to bond, live together and distract from the health crisis we faced 17 months ago, which had a positive impact on the psychosocial domains of the participating children, according to parents’ comments. in emails.
