The appearance of Pitt (60 years old) on the track occurred between races, as El Universal newspaper said that Claudio Miranda, the director of the film, had previously agreed with Formula 1 organizers and obtained permission to film at the same time. The lead-up to the Mexican Grand Prix.
In his white pilot suit, Pete drove the crowd crazy every time he appeared on stage.
