More than 10 entities nationwide, including bioparks, institutions, zoos and universities, attended the experience exchange forum, led by Okumari Biopark and the Pereira Economic Development and Competitiveness Secretariat, a space that yielded experiences gained in the areas of education, research and knowledge appropriation.
The forum’s goal was to create bonds of unity and mutual knowledge, which enrich and promote growth between institutions, and to exchange experiences with all attendees through oral presentations.
The meeting included the participation of Pablo Moreno, who belongs to the Social Appropriation of Knowledge Group affiliated with the Ministry of Science, Technology and Personalization. “On behalf of the Ministry, we will present a toolkit for the management of scientific centers, as we want to provide tools that will allow management from the components of communication, finance and knowledge management, which will enhance these scenarios. Which is very important for the social appropriation of knowledge in the country,” Moreno said.
Data of interest
The forum will last for two days, at the end of which the authorities will take an educational tour in the Okumari Biopark.
