Popular Cuban actress Irila Bravo broke her silence about her departure from the island in an interview with the program La Casa de Maka.

According to him, his 94-year-old mother gave him the strength to make the decision after a decade of traveling to the United States.

“Since 2013, I came to the United States, they always received me with a lot of affection, a lot of love, and I always came back. But this time my mother said to me: ‘Daughter, you have to end this cycle. You need to change, you don’t have much Time for hope. “You have to make things happen,” he admitted.

“That is why I am here today and took this step. I will stay here for a long time,” he stressed.

Bravo explained that life in Cuba is very difficult. He said: “The situation that Cuba is going through is no secret to anyone, and it is a very important matter. Everyone knows it, and no one escapes this.”

The actress also explained how difficult it was to be separated from her mother. “I know she misses me in life, we talk on the phone all the time.”

“Mom, I will please you and find a boyfriend like you told me.”

Bravo, famous for her role as Chachita on “Vivir del Cuento,” is already in rehearsals for her new project in Miami.

The artist will be part of the comedy show “Havana in Hialeah,” a program that will be broadcast on UniVistaTV, bringing together prominent Cuban comedians such as Omar Franco, Leonardo Santisteban, and Carlos “Belén” Marrero.
