The Ministry of Education of the Dominican Republic (MINERD) continues to pay the salaries of administrative collaborators in person at headquarters.
The information was provided by MINERD’s Director of Human Management, Delia Stephanie Opera, who said the operation will take place on Saturday and Sunday tomorrow.
He noted that cooperators in the accommodation of children, employees in the retirement and pension process, the Fundación Estancia Infantil Ana Josefina Martínez, the Fundación Educativa Acción Callejera and the Center for Adolescent and Youth Affairs have not yet been paid.
As well as collaborators with the Coordination Unit for Centers with Disabilities, the Education Program Unit, the Coordination Unit of Espacio de Esperanza and the Florián Tavarez Jr. Library.
Obera noted that direct payments cover 100% of the employment of MINERD and its dependents, in the 10 central and regional headquarters corresponding to Santo Domingo 2, and the 15 province of Santo Domingo III, which are part of the central hub.
“This mechanism seeks to identify the population actively working in their designated positions, as well as to obtain valid information for possible improvements in human organization and management. Likewise, to correct potential errors in the system, and to strengthen general controls and procedures for the process.
