The baseball player appointed lawyers Francisco Rodriguez Consoro and Teodosio Jaquez Encarnacion to represent him in the case in which he is linked to an alleged relationship with a minor.
Rodriguez Consoro, who previously served as a judge in the Judicial Branch of the Ninth Investigative Court in charge of the Judicial Office of Permanent Care Services in the National Region, said his client will appear next week after the New Year celebrations.
He explained that he personally visited the prosecutor of the National Directorate for Children, Adolescents and Families, Olga Dina Laferias, and the referee confirmed that the baseball player “has no problems with the law” and that he must appear in the province. Puerto Plata said.
