(Editorial: Press – Communication Section). The draft “Declaration of the First International Conference of Young Researchers in Health Sciences – The First Winter School of Scientific Research and the Second Public Health Symposium of Scientific Interest” was approved by the House of Representatives at the regular session this week.
The decision was made in the space of proposals for treatment on tables, at the initiative of Deputy Miguel Ángel del Puerto (ANR-Caaguazú).
The designer said that the aim is to promote scientific exchange between international and national experts, with leading young researchers in the health sciences from all over Paraguay’s territory.
The organization is affiliated with the Kaguazu National University; Regional Health Research Institute; and the National Institute of Health of the Ministry of Public Health and Welfare.
He noted that he also has the support of the National Council for Science and Technology (CONACET); the National Youth Secretariat; and the Faculty of Medical Sciences of the National University of Asuncion, Santa Rosa Branch.
The activity will take place in Coronel Oviedo, between August 21 and 25.
The approved document also urges the competent national authorities to commit to publishing and promoting the aforementioned scientific event, to connect our youth with national and international experts.
During the conference, it is planned to create working groups among young researchers and mentors, to propose research ideas and develop the first experience of the Winter School of Health Research in Paraguay.
In addition, the Association of Young Researchers of Paraguay will be formed for young people up to 38 years of age who show scientific activity.
