In a warm and emotional ceremony in the Olavarria University complex, diplomas were handed over to students received from various professions offered by the Faculty of Social Sciences, as well as Health Sciences, Engineering and Humanities.
Law No. 156 on the collection of scores for the faculties of the Olavaría headquarters of the National University of the Provincial Center of Buenos Aires at SUM has been implemented from shared classrooms in the university complex.
It was chaired by the President of UNICEN, Dr. Marcelo Aba, and the Academic Secretary of the University, Professor Mabel Pacheco. They were accompanied by the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, BA Gabriella Gamberini; Deputy Dean of the College of Health Sciences, BA Bettina Bernardelli; and Dean of the College of Engineering, Mag. Maria Heidi Peralta.
Also in attendance was Deputy Brigadier General Dr. María Luz Endere; Academic Secretary, Lic. Gabriela Loustaunau, and Secretary of Counseling, Welfare and Transfer, Lic. Nicolas Casado; As well as the authorities and members of academic units and municipalities and relatives of graduates.
In the first place, after the Argentine national anthem was sung by the Olavarria Municipal Symphony Orchestra “Maestro Mario Battani”, Angela Florencia Gallardo, a graduate student in the journalism profession at the Faculty of Social Sciences, gave farewell words. The young woman expressed this, saying: “A stage of emotions of all kinds ends, and it is the stage of our growth in the personal, collective, academic and practical aspects. One stage is completed but the other begins with new challenges and learnings. Hold on to public education!
After that, the Dean of FIO, Engineer Maria Peralta, addressed the new graduates of the three academic units: “The graduates are a reflection of the work of the State University. An oath to practice responsibly means and represents a commitment to yourselves. As the Dean of FIO stated, “Having a college degree is a privilege, and being able to be a college graduate is an acquired privilege. A privilege for all of us committed to a public university, and a privilege that they commit to society.
It was the Academic Secretary of UNICEN, Professor Mabel Pacheco, who took the oath to the graduates. While Lices Bernardelli took the Hippocratic Oath to the graduating physicians.
