(CNN) – Bad Bunny announced that he will release his new album, “Nobody Knows What Tomorrow Will Happen,” this weekend.
“The day many expected has already arrived…” wrote the Puerto Rican artist on his Instagram page on Monday.
The album announcement included a short video clip of the singer, whose first name is Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio, walking between a group of photographers on the street while entering a restaurant. He is greeted by Sid inside, who reveals himself and debuts a stylish new haircut while sporting a big smile.
On his Instagram Stories, Bad Bunny posted pre-order links on Apple Music and Spotify for the 22-song album, including previously released songs “Where She Goes” and “Un Preview.”
“I’m playing and having fun, and I’m letting myself go,” Martinez told Vanity Fair last month, adding: “I draw a lot of inspiration from ’70s music… but I’m not sure if that will shape my life.” Music.”in general or just a song.”
Bad Bunny’s announcement comes on the heels of what has turned out to be a big year for the musician: “Nobody Knows What Tomorrow Will Happen” appears to be the highly anticipated follow-up to his successful 2022 album “Un Verano Sin Ti.”
“A Summer With You” was nominated for a Grammy Award for Album of the Year in 2022, and her single “Moscow Mule” was nominated for Best Pop Solo Performance. He was also the most streamed artist on Spotify worldwide for the third year in a row.
“There’s no way the album that comes after Un Verano Sin Ti will sound like this again,” he told the publication. “I will always look for a way to do something new.”
“Nobody Knows What Will Happen Tomorrow” will be available on streaming platforms on Friday.
