Working with the Houston Police Department and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, DPS arrested and took into custody Jorgeniz Robertson Goa, 32, an illegal immigrant from Venezuela. He was booked into the Brazoria County Jail.

Goa was arrested after a DPS special agent assigned to the Houston, Texas, gang center was tipped off in late September about a suspected TdA member living in the Houston area. The suspect, identified as Goa, was scheduled for an asylum hearing in Houston on Oct. 7.

A subsequent investigation revealed that Covey was wanted for a robbery in Pearland. During the investigation, officers noticed tattoos on Goa’s arms, including a five-pointed crown, a clock and roses, all known as TdA marks.
