Amara “La Negra” returns to Univision as host of El Nacional

Diana Daniels de los Santos, the dancer's real name, announced the news on the Despierta América program, where she expressed her happiness at being part of this new project alongside four other women, including her compatriot, Dr. Nasi AlvarezVenezuelan Migbilis CastellanosPuerto Rican Adamari Lopez And Mexican Kareena Panda.

“I'm so happy, so excited. I've always dreamed of being on a formal show here at Univision and it's been given to me, and they've given me the opportunity to be on Desiguales with some amazing women,” she said.

Amara confirmed that the interesting thing about this talk show is the difference in personalities between the five women, which will make each of them share her opinions based on her experiences and knowledge.

“I have a strong and controversial mentality. I like (the crew) because everyone has their own opinion, and we are all different and at the same time we have many things in common.”

Desiguales is the new TV show on the Univisión network, which will be broadcast starting Monday, February 19 at 2:00 p.m.

“Each Desiguales will share their thoughts on the most prominent topics of the moment, current news that generate conversation topics for the family and community. In addition, they will present their own actions and viewpoints by putting themselves in the shoes of people who have gained prominence in public opinion,” the network explained. After announcing the project, this dynamic will integrate elements of the global media landscape, providing a unique and rich television experience.

The presence of Amara “La Negra” on the morning program of the aforementioned Spanish network was not lost on the Spanish Jomari Guiso, who asked her about her love life and what she would do on February 14.

“Are you in love?” Jomari asked her, and the Dominican woman replied: “I am experiencing love now, yes.”

Although he did not want to reveal the person's identity, he said that he is from the world of entertainment and holds American citizenship. “He's not Latino, I already tried it and it didn't work. He's an American from Gringoland.”

Amara is a well-known face to Univision audiences, having competed as Miss Chiquitita on the hit show Sábado Gigante, at just three years old. Years later, she gained even greater fame with her participation in Mira Quien Baila All Stars 2019, where her grace and energy on the dance floor took her to the final, after this participation she hosted PJ Takeover in the same year, at Premios Juventud.

In 2020, she worked as a behind-the-scenes correspondent for Mira Quien Baila All Stars and Tu Cara Me Suena. In 2021, she became the godmother of the Nuestra Belleza Latina Palace.

In 2023 he returned as a participant in Mira Quin Paella: La Revancha, from which he had to withdraw before the final concert due to a fracture during rehearsals.
