Just a few days ago, Lamborghini They announced that they will return Kontach In a special edition limited to 112 units only. It will have its world premiere this weekend at Monterey Car Week, but the car has clearly gone ahead with a few Leaks.
While there is still no official confirmation from the Italian company, it appears that the images are 100% real. The first indication is that the photo session reveals a place previously used by Lamborghini for other photo sessions, this is complemented by an original Countach at the back as a “recognition” of the model.
These photos went viral thanks to Instagram user Carspias, who was the first to post leaks of the new Lamborghini Countach.
Another positive indication is the avoidance of extreme elements, such as oversized wheels, bulky spoiler or stray air intakes. In terms of design, the car respects some of the distinctive elements of the original model, such as the “square” nose and the air intakes at the bottom.
The classic triangular side air ducts have been recreated by Lamborghini. However, the distinctive hidden headlights have been omitted for road safety reasons, but respect the “retro” square line in the Kontach A native.
Other confirmations come on the subject of the monorail. Lamborghini will use a hybrid engine similar to the one on the Cyan, a model that also takes inspiration from the rear.
It may be called LPI 800-4 Thanks to the leak above, which means you’ll definitely go for a hybrid all-wheel drive powertrain.
LPI stands for Longitudinale Posteriore Ibrido, which leaves little to the imagination in mechanical terms. 800 will be your horse power number, which will definitely be placed around 790 hp.
