Chihuahua- After the controversy caused by the publication of the head of state of the National Action Party (PAN), Rossio Reza Gallegos, about the alleged surgeries that her brother performed on Miss Universe Andrea Mesa, some medical specialists explained that despite the fact that knowledge of the aesthetic procedures being performed on patients is given It is part of a legal framework – always by agreement between patient and doctor – and the truth is that it is a matter of lack of ethics.
Reza Gallegos posted on social networks that his brother, Doctor Rogelio Reza, was an important part of Miss Chihuahuan’s victory.
Due to this, El Diario attempted to contact both Rocío Reza and Rogelio without getting a response.
However, on the social network Facebook, the aforementioned doctor shares publicly, both photos and comments about the beauty queen, where he explains that he was part of her transformation and victory.
It also publishes that it is the official sponsor of Miss World, Miss United Continents, Miss Mexico and Miss Chihuahua.
Rogelio Reda, on his Facebook account, posted on May 16 that Andrea Meza, the current Miss Universe, did a great job and was involved in the process. In this sense, Rossio congratulated Reza her brother on consolidating this victory.
In another comment, the state’s PAN chief noted that the only thing missing was her brother’s approach to the Miss Universe treatment.
What the doctors say
In this context, plastic surgeon Ricardo Baca stated that health professionals should keep their patients confidential due to professional ethics, but if there is an agreement between the patient and the doctor to use their image, “it is legally possible”.
The surgeon explained that morals should prevail over the consent of patients, as some doctors use the image of celebrities to gain more clients, stressing that this kind of situation occurs in all professions.
Ricardo Baca pointed out that plastic surgeons should act with professional ethics and not disclose what patients they receive and what procedures they have performed, because agreements to publish their clients’ photos are a limitation on a commercial level, not a professional one.
