After spending the entire weekend carrying out various activities on his presidential agenda in La Vega County, Luis Abenader stopped by for his public day yesterday when he was 54 years old.
The chief spent the whole morning at his residence, and, unlike last year, no one had come close yet to leave him gifts and presents. Abenader left around 11:30 a.m. for his office at the National Palace, even though he didn’t have any kind of activities on his schedule. After a pause in his activities, today, the President is scheduled to participate in the session of the National Council of the Judiciary that will begin the evaluation of 79 ambitious judges of the Supreme Electoral Tribunal (TSE).
Several government institutions expressed their congratulations on social media on his birthday, as did his daughter Esther, who published a congratulatory message to her father shortly after midnight.
“Congratulations luisabinader what an honor to be your daughter. Thank you for teaching me that defeat cannot discourage me and victory cannot obscure me. I do not lack your advice,” said the chief’s eldest daughter.
Gift request
Abenader publicly requested only one gift from all Dominicans.
Via his Twitter account, the president said his “best birthday present” would be for people to get vaccinated or someone to get vaccinated against Covid-19.
“My best birthday present is to get vaccinated or have a loved one vaccinated. Thank you for your gift! #Get vaccinated today,” Abenader tweeted.
home security
The perimeter of the house where President Luis Abenader resides, in the La Julia extension of the National District, is guarded by military personnel and members of the Presidential Guard.
