The Revenue Department of the Municipality of Lago Puelo received teachers and students taking the fourth-year accounting course at the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the National University of Patagonia “San Juan Bosco”, Esquel headquarters, in order to carry out the audit exercise.
The workshop consists of internal control in an organization or company, in order to put knowledge of the subject into practice. On this occasion, an exact copy of the activity that was carried out at the university last year was implemented in the municipality. The aim is to conduct a comparative study of the administrative structure, strengths and weaknesses of the university and the different areas of the municipality of Lago Puelo.
This survey was conducted by the Secretariat of Administration and the Secretariat of Economics and Finance, Mr. Federico Bauer. Internal control over procedures, tenders, purchasing and leasing operations, and money control was observed.
The Head of Audit consists of Professor Ariel Giannandrea, who signs the documents, and the Head of Practical Work, Marcelo Burgos, both accountants. They were accompanied by three students currently finishing the 2023 session.
