A waitress was shot dead by her ex-boyfriend in the restaurant she was working at and in front of customers

Ohio Police arrested the man responsible for shooting a waitress at Bob Evans’ restaurant on Friday, April 16, they reported. Local media.

Richard James Nelson, 54, entered the venue in the morning hours while Rebecca Jane Rogers, 38, was serving more than a dozen clients. The shooter opened fire on Rogers and then ran out of the back door. Diners took refuge under their tables and no one else was injured. The authorities said that the only victim was taken to hospital, where he died from his multiple wounds.

The suspect was tracked down all day and at around 8:30 PM local time, he was arrested in the East Canton town, South Cleveland.
